Updates from Kiandu!
We have had some wonderful updates from Kiandu since our departure. They say a picture speaks a thousand words and i reckon thats true. Check out our toilet block!
Our wonderful builder Mr James Kigwa has been doing an absolutely incredible job on the toilet blocks and he also did the skylights. He is a reliable and hardworking man who is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks for the great work James!
This photo, below, sent to us by James recently shows our now completed toilet block!!! woohoooooo!! and a second one with slab completed. How excited we got when we saw those pictures!

More exciting news is that the old boys are holding a ‘mega fundraiser ‘ in Nairobi for the school on July 31st. Its so great to see how pro active and enthusiastic they are! We are so touched by their immediate action that we have decided we will also hold a Kiandu party here in Sydney on July 31st so all you Sydney siders reading this please keep that evening of July 31st free and we will update you very soon on the details.
